About the Yellow Umbrella Project

So I actually started this blog, the Yellow Umbrella Project, about a year ago for one of my family classes here at BYU-Idaho. We had to talk about things that we learned from class and relate it to personal experiences. These posts consist of anything from children to parents.

I chose the Yellow Umbrella for the name of this blog because 1. I'm a fan of HIMYM and 2. in the television show, the umbrella represents the mother. For me, the umbrella represents something more. It represents the future. I know that its there and I can choose to like it or not, but I don't know exactly what it holds at this moment. This blog is a way to "document" parts of the present that play a role in my future.

*Update*

I have tried to "get rid" of the blog by forgetting all about it, but, my mind eventually always comes back to it. So I've finally decided to come back into the world of blogging. So, be prepared to hear all about life in the eyes of this 25 year old!
